1. Who we are

This website is operated by Rizon Car Dealer, 12 Parramatta Road, Sydney NSW 2000. We respect your privacy and we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. What this website collects

This is a deliberately simple website. It has no accounts, no login, and no customer database.

• Nothing is stored on this site. The enquiry, finance and trade-in tools do not save what you type. When you press send, the details are handed to your own email app or messaging app, and you choose whether to send them.
• The calculators run in your browser. The numbers you enter into the finance calculator never leave your device.
• Standard server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

3. Information you give us directly

When you contact us by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp or in person, we collect what you choose to tell us. For a vehicle enquiry or a trade-in that usually means your name, contact details, and details of the car you are interested in or want to sell.

If you go on to buy a vehicle or apply for finance through us, we will collect more — such as your licence details and identification — and we will explain what we need and why at that point.

4. Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiry and arrange an inspection or test drive.
• To prepare a trade-in offer or a quote.
• To complete a sale and meet our record-keeping obligations as a motor dealer.
• To pass your details, with your consent, to a finance provider or insurer if you ask us to.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.

5. Who we share it with

We only share personal information where it is necessary, for example with a lender or insurer you have asked us to deal with, with a mechanic or transport company involved in your purchase, or with a government body such as a roads and transport authority when transferring registration. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally so that features like the car comparison list keep working while you browse — that data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

7. Embedded third-party services

Some pages embed a Google map so you can find us, and the contact buttons open services such as WhatsApp or your email provider. When you use those services their own privacy policies apply, and they may collect information about you independently of us.

8. Keeping information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Because this site stores nothing, the main records we hold are the emails, messages and paperwork created when we deal with you directly.

9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as it is useful. Sale records are kept for as long as the law requires a motor dealer to keep them, after which they are destroyed or de-identified.

10. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
